Economic Stability

You Matter!

Health starts in our families, neighborhoods, schools and jobs.

Did you know that your quality of life started when you were born and is impacted by where you live, learn, work and play? Your environment, which includes economic stability, can directly impact your overall health and well-being.

In the United States, 1 in 10 people live in poverty. Many people can’t afford healthy foods, health care and housing. Many have trouble finding and keeping a job, while some are limited in their ability to work or don’t earn enough to afford the necessary items to stay healthy. Providing access to resources like employment programs and career counseling can make a difference in your economic stability.
