Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center to Host Medicare Seminar Sept. 20

The Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) will present a Welcome to Medicare seminar Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington. The seminar will cover:

  • Medicare Parts A and B benefits
  • Prescription drug benefits (Part D)
  • Medicare Advantage plans
  • Medicare supplement insurance

The two-hour seminars will begin at 5 p.m. in the Oak Room on the lower level of the hospital, 1221 S. Gear Ave. West Burlington. Registration by Monday, Sept. 12, is required. Call 319-768-3342.

SHIIP is a free, confidential service of the State of Iowa that provides unbiased information to help Iowans make decisions about Medicare and other health coverage. People should enroll in Medicare as soon as they turn 65.
