Hospital's Walk-In Clinic to Become Urgent Care

Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center’s Walk-In Clinic in Fort Madison will become Urgent Care Monday, Oct. 3. Urgent care is a more-affordable alternative to emergency care if the injury or illness is not life-threatening. Laboratory and X-ray services are available. It is suitable for sudden health conditions when you can’t wait for an appointment or when other clinics are closed. Appointments aren’t required.

The clinic is located in Suite 120 on the hospital’s Fort Madison campus, 5409 Avenue O.

“Our Walk-In Clinic has been providing care for a variety of conditions and offering laboratory and X-ray services for many years,” said Chad Zeleny, director, Fort Madison physician services, Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center. “We are changing the name and expanding hours to align with the hospital’s two other urgent care clinics.”

These clinics are located at 1321 S. Gear Ave., West Burlington, and 3285 Main St., Keokuk. The hours for all urgent are clinics are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
