Continuous Glucose Meter Support Group to meet January 11 at HCHC

The Henry County Health Center Diabetes Education Center’s monthly Continuous Glucose Meter (CGM) Support Group will meet Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 2-3 p.m. in Suite 25 in the Diabetes Education Center.

This group is designed for anyone who currently wears a CGM or is interested in getting one. All of the group currently are Dexcom users, but individuals with other brands are welcome to attend!

The group meets to support, educate, troubleshoot, and discuss the latest news regarding CGMs. Many times this leads into other topics specific to having Type 1 diabetes or being insulin dependent.

What once was a unique device is becoming more common for insulin dependent patients. The group not only supports and informs each other with CGM use, but is also a way for people to see that others with diabetes have the same day to day issues living with diabetes.

HCHC is prepared and committed to caring for you and your loved ones. Our current safety precautions require that facemasks be worn by all patients and visitors. No youth under the age of 18 are allowed to enter Henry County Health Center unless the child is a patient coming for an appointment. Please remember to social distance in the hallways, waiting areas and classrooms, cover your coughs and sneezes, and stay home when ill.
