Great River Klein Center Receives U.S. News' Top Ratings

‘High performing’ in nursing home and rehabilitation categories

West Burlington, Iowa, Nov. 15, 2018 – Great River Klein Center is among the top-rated nursing homes in the country, according to U.S. News and World Report.

U.S. News gave most facilities two ratings – overall quality of the home and short-stay rehabilitation. Great River Klein Center earned “high performing” – the top rating – in both categories.

Most nursing homes received one of five overall ratings – high performing, better than average, average, worse than average or poor. Those with sufficient relevant volume also received one of three new short-stay rehabilitation ratings – high performing, average or below average.

Only 19 percent of U.S. nursing homes received overall ratings of high performing, better than average or average.

“The recognition from U.S. News and World Report is evidence of our commitment to high-quality care at Great River Klein Center,” said Ann Abolt, administrator. “I am proud of our staff’s everyday commitment to providing individualized and compassionate care. We achieved this recognition because of their hard work.”
