Who can use the library?
The library is open all Great River Health System staff, physicians, patients, families and the public.

Does the library have computers with Internet access and/or wireless connection?
The library has two computers with Internet access, which can be utilized by patrons. The library also has wireless services, as does the entire hospital.

Is food/drink permitted in the library?
Yes, food and drink are permitted. Please notify library staff of any spills, so they may be cleaned immediately.

Can materials be checked out of the library?

  • For the public: Consumer health materials are materials purchased for the layperson and can be checked out for four weeks. A yellow dot on the spine label indicates consumer health material.
  • For GRHS Staff: All Great River Health System staff and physicians may check out materials for four weeks. Journals and reference materials do not circulate.

Does the library accept donated materials?
Yes! Due to space limitations, we may not be able to accept everything. Accepted donations include medical texts, as well as fiction and non-fiction books in good condition.
