Junior Volunteens to hold pancake, raffle fundraisers

Great River Health System’ Junior Volunteens will host a pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, at Applebee’s, 116 S. Roosevelt, Burlington. Pancakes, bacon and beverages will be served by the youths. Tickets are $5.

Junior Volunteens will keep $4 from each ticket, which will be donated to Great River Friends, a community of donors and volunteers that supports Great River Health System.

Tickets can be purchased at the door.

The Volunteens also are holding a raffle; tickets are $2 each. The drawing is scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in Great River Medical Center’s Cafeteria.

Prizes include golfing for four at Spirit Hollow, a $75 gift certificate to Martini’s and 12 free monthly meals at The Drake with equal purchase. The Volunteens have collected more than 50 prizes.

Tickets may be purchased from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays in Great River Gift Shop in the Great River Medical Center lobby.
