“Making Time for Menopause: Unraveling the Mystery” will be
presented by Great River Health System at5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26.
The second program in the 10-month Red Hot Mamas series will be in the
Blackhawk Room on the lower level of Mercy Plaza, 1225 S. Gear Ave., West
Burlington.
The featured speaker will be Elisabeth Long, ARNP, a nurse practitioner
at Great River Women’s Health. Participants will learn about the
stages and symptoms of menopause, and methods for managing symptoms. They
also will have opportunities to talk to a Great River Medical Center dietitian
and pharmacist, and have their blood pressure checked.
A light supper and door prizes will be available at the free program. Reservations

Red Hot Mamas is an education and support program that educates women about
