Great River Women's Health is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
through Friday. We prefer that you call at these times unless there is
The purpose of appointments is to avoid or reduce long waits for you in
the office. We do our best to keep on schedule and honor your appointment.
If you call shortly before your appointment, we'll gladly let you
know if we are on schedule. There will be times when our providers are
called away from the clinic for obstetric problems or emergencies. We
will attempt to notify you by telephone if it appears that we cannot keep
your appointment. We will schedule a new appointment at the soonest time possible.
If you must cancel an appointment, please call the clinic as soon as possible
so we can give the appointment time to someone else.
Please call during office hours. The person answering the telephone will
tell you what to do or when to expect a reply. If an emergency exists,
we will be in touch with you as soon as possible. For routine calls, a
time to expect a return call will be given, and a request made for the
telephone number where you may be reached at that time. For questions

Payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, check, debit
card, MasterCard, VISA and Discover. If an overpayment of your account
by you or by your insurance company occurs, we will send the excess to
For companies with which we participate, we will accept their payment as
payment in full less co-payments or deductibles are owed. Our office will
provide the necessary information for completing insurance forms. If you
